Here’s a simple way to prepare a homemade dog food recipe for a teacup yorkie.
Yorkies like any other dog need optimal nutrition for their daily activities. A well balanced combination of carbohydrates, protein, calcium, oils, natural acids and vegetables is generally recommended by vets and professional dog breeders.
For protein requirements, you can start off by getting ground meat (beef or pork). For the carbohydrates, we can give rice, mashed potatoes or corn. For calcium, we can give those supplements or a raw egg with the shell. For the vegetables, chopped carrots, lettuce leaves or any type available that compensates nutritional value.
We can start of with sauteing garlic in vegetable oil, add the meat to cook until brown then add cups of water to cover the entire mixture. Bring this to a boil and add the vegetables. Let this simmer for another five minutes, take it off the fire and let it cool down. You can finish off this home made dog food recipe for teacup yorkies by mixing it with grains like cooked rice corn or home cooked mashed potatoes.
Before serving, add a couple of teaspoons of apple cider vinegar and virgin coconut oil. Occasionally add an egg, about twice a week. You can take the shell and grind it in a food processor before adding it to the mixture. Optimal nutrition value and balance is ideal as follows. Protein from meats is at seventy percent, carbohydrates at ten percent, calcium at five percent vegetables at ten percent and lastly oils and acids at another five percent.
This type of preparation for a homemade dog food recipe for a teacup yorkie can be made offhand to last for three days to one week worth of feeding. It can also be placed in ziplock bags for freezing and storage. Another option is to cut the mixture up into nuggets before storing them.
It’s all natural, easy to prepare, has some shelf life and should reduce the odor of the stool of your pets. We all want to give our beloved pets the best nutrition we can, this is one way to do it. As a part of our love, I hope you can enjoy preparing this home made dog food recipe for teacup yorkies.

I was told by my vet not to give my small Yorkie any pork products. He said pork was bad for small dogs and could cause pancreitis disease. Have you ever heard this. I am really wanted to find a healthy way to feed my dog.
