I bought my dogs Halloween costumes. They are soooo cute in them!
Bella is a Bumblebee and Bubby is “Dogzilla.” He looks great in green.
These sweet pups are so excited whenever people around, whether they know you or not. Last night I had company over and sure enough whenever the doorbell rang they were so excited!
They greeted everyone with enthusiasm. I wonder what it would be like to have them in costume during trick or treat hour- Ha!
That is actually laughable because they would run outside and maul the poor trick or treaters.
They would probably gallivant out in the streets. You know, dogs are really meant to be outdoors, and our poor Yorkies are indoor dogs. I really do feel bad for them. They are so excited to go outside!
The worst part is- we don’t have fencing. It would be so much easier if we did, but we don’t. So on goes the leash whenever we go on a walk.
So back to the costumes. Dog costumes… every year we dress up for Halloween at work. Its very important and special and socially correct to do so.
I think that Halloween at my work is very fun, but I have never really been huge on the Halloween dress up part. I dress up to join in the festive holiday fun but it is certainly not my cup of tea.
This year as soon as I started seeing Halloween costumes, instead of thinking what or who I would be, I thought, I would much rather buy my puppies costumes! How funny would that be!
I bought Bella’s Bumblebee costume at PetSmart. I just happened to see it when I was shopping there for dog food. I fell in love!!! I don’t know why,but this costume struck me as the cutest ever!
And then for some reason, I had a vision of Bubby in a green dinosaur costume. I searched online and found surprisingly easily the “Dogzilla” costume.
Aren’t they sooo cute? Who would know that I would care more about my puppies costumes than mine. I’m just kidding, but really…I thought more about what they were wearing this Halloween than myself, even though I always dress up for work.
Here are more Halloween pups taken from the mass email “Why dogs bite people.”

Let the dogs join in the trick or treat fun! You could even take them around to neighbors you know. And you have got to post pictures! Im sure they are adorable in their costumes.

Sorry about the lack of pictures…we finally got them published. That would be so funny to bring our dogs trick-or-treating! I would love to see the neighbors faces.
I am hoping to hand out candy if I’m not too exhausted after our Spook Alley fun at work, and I would love to have the puppies there in costume.
