We live in a small home spread out on three floors. The result is very poor air circulation, and a FREEZING cold basement! Honestly, I often think about what foods I could refrigerate safely down there during the winter.

If I am so cold I cannot imagine how cold our yorkies are. I think it would be fun to get them a heating blanket. The benefit would be that I wouldn’t need to turn up the heat and pay higher heating bills- Bart and I could just wear warmer clothing and the puppies could cuddle up in a shared heating blanket while we are in the basement. We often do sit in the basement after work during the week and watch a movie or t.v., so I really think it would be a good purchase.
I am a little worried, though, about the safety of a heating blanket for teacup yorkies. They are so small, and I will have no idea what is too warm for them. And the yorkies will obviously not be able to control the settings, so if the blanket gets too warm…ouch! I would hate for one of them to get burned.
I didn’t know, however, about these alternative products for dogs. Who would of known! These bankets and pads are safe for dogs.
