There are plenty of ways in training a teacup yorkie. So if you have one, you might have a few training steps in mind you would want to teach him – along with the other new ones you stumbled upon.
Basically, training dogs is not a simple task to do. Even professional dog trainers will attest to this. It takes a lot of willpower and patience for one to teach his dog a new lesson each time. Training a teacup yorkie is not just all about teaching him to do little cute things and stuff for you to laugh at. Sure, teacup yorkies provide comedic relief even if you don’t ask them to.
Teacup yorkies are so funny, yet cute. Their bold yet innocent ways can cause you to burst out in laughter when a teacup yorkie shows off something adorable.
As puppies, teacup yorkies do possess an enormous amount of energy. These puppies are so active; they love to play a lot with their respective owners and children.
Once you own one, you have to mold his personality at best. Training a teacup yorkie helps enhance his best behavior. So if you want him to be more lovable, it is up to you how and when you want to start.
If you want to bring out the best in your teacup yorkie, it is best to train him the simplest stuff possible.
Yes, why not start NOW?
Before training your teacup yorkie, always make sure that you are in the right mood to teach him. Yorkies tend to be set in their ways, but the good thing here is the fact that they do love to socialize with people.
Interaction works best for them. So if you want to teach a teacup yorkie to, say, sit – be sure you are firm in your tone. Praise him for doing a ‘good job’, followed by a reward.
Any reward in kind will do: bits of dog food, dog biscuits, and other delicious dog treats. Training a teacup yorkie will be so much fun when you learn from him, too.
You will get to learn his behavior during the training – the way listens to you, the way his ears would perk up once you give the command, and the way he will appreciate your being appreciative in his way of responding to your commands.

I have a Yorkie male pup who just turned 5 Months old today! He was born November 14, 2009! Which is ironic cause my youngest son’s birthday is November 12, 2003! I got my Yorkie pup April 1st, 2010! He is such a blessing to have! I can take him anywhere and he is so well behaved! Everyone just loves my puppy! I named him Buddy cause he loves to buddy up with everyone! The only problem that I have with him is that he gets car sick. I need advice on what to help prevent him from getting sick on car rides. Also, I need advice on training him commands like sit, stay, here, and stuff like that! I know he can learn fast cause he’s a happy, smart, and healthy, puppy! Any advice would be greatly appreciated! God bless everyone and enjoy your pets for they are truly a blessing!

Sorry about the name above. Instead of Buudy, I meant to say Buddy’s Mom

My husband got me a yorkie, Buttons to keep me company when he’s not there. I love him to death but i’m at wits end on how to calm the little guy down. No matter what tone I use, toy I give him to chew on instead of my hand, or number of times I kennel him for bad behavior, he won’t stop biting the crap outta me. He’s so feisty, hyper, and stubborn I can’t even hold him to my face to kiss him.. last time I tried, my brand new nose ring got ripped out. WHAT DO I DO? Everyone wants me to sell him, but I’m not gonna give up on him.. I just need help.. thanks.
